Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Columbus, GA. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the chance to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process vendor certifications
  • Maintain the U-List
  • Monitor the TR List to ensure UGA and SAP receivers match
  • Perform part number changes
  • Disposition the Queue
  • Conduct mechanical testing, including creep, stress rupture, and tensile testing
  • Perform daily walk-around inspections prior to testing
  • Receive-in and inspect testing specimens for accuracy
  • Sort priorities as needed
  • Operate multiple machines for specimen testing
  • Comply with all training requirements, including quality procedures and MCL manuals and standard work
  • Log testing data in UGA
  • Maintain required log books
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • 1 year of quality experience preferred
  • Must have experience in Microsoft Office
  • Good data entry skills
