Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Counselor to join our team at Nova Recovery Center. As a key member of our treatment team, you will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling services to clients struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to support clients in achieving their recovery goals
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborate with other treatment team members to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on addiction and recovery
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g. counseling, psychology, social work)
  • Licensed as an LCDC, LMSW, or LPC
  • Experience working with clients with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
