Job Title: Cyto Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyto Technologist to join our team at ThreePDS Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for screening pap smears and non-gynecological slides, and reporting results according to established protocol.

Responsibilities:

* Screen pap smears and non-gynecological slides and report results according to established protocol.
* Review patient history in association with screening cytology slides.
* Document workload and submit weekly reports for review.
* Review discrepant cases with Pathologist to improve and provide quality patient care.
* Maintain a False Negative Proportion (FNP) of ± 1-2% of the lab average but do not exceed a 5% overall FNP.
* Maintain an 80-100% Diagnostic Correlation with the Pathologist.
* Maintain gyn statistical analysis rates of ± 5% as compared to the laboratory's overall rates.
* Maintain individual workload limit as set forth by the supervisor/director, derived from the employee's 6 month performance appraisal.
* Complete special assignments as designated by the supervisor in a timely and professional manner.
* Assist with Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) adequacy assessments throughout various procedure areas in the hospital.

Requirements:

* 2 years of CytoTech experience.
* Must be CT-ASCP, or, CT-IAC certified.
* Travel experience strongly encouraged.
* MUST have a Bachelor's OR Master's degree in a Science related field.
