Main Duties:
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    • Generate, review, and scrutinize financial statements and reports to guarantee precision and compliance with accounting principles.
    • Perform variance analysis and deliver insights regarding financial performance and trends.
  • General Ledger Management:
    • Oversee the general ledger and confirm the accuracy of account balances.
    • Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts, including intercompany and foreign currency transactions.
  • Close Processes:
    • Lead the month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and precise reporting.
    • Prepare and evaluate journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist in formulating annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Analyze budget discrepancies and collaborate with department leaders to manage expenditures effectively.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

    • Supervise and mentor junior financial staff, offering guidance and training as necessary.
    • Review the work completed by junior staff for accuracy and thoroughness.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 4-6 years of financial experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
