Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Family Support Specialist to join our team at Sierra Vista Child & Family Services in North Modesto. As a vital member of our multi-disciplinary service team, you will provide essential support to families with children aged 0-5 who are at risk of child abuse and neglect.

About the Role:

This full-time position (40 hours/week) offers an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others. You will work collaboratively with our integrated service team to provide case management services, including community resource referrals, health insurance enrollment, and depression and developmental screenings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide access, advocacy, resources, and linkage to clients.
  • Interact productively within a multi-disciplinary team and other community organizations.
  • Maintain records and tracking systems that meet standards.
  • Attend community events and report any suspected child or adult abuse.
  • Cross-train to support various roles within programs as needed.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, or equivalent experience. You must be bilingual in Spanish and have a valid California driver's license with fewer than two minor moving violations. A background check and TB test will also be required.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum based on experience.
