Position Overview

The Cath Lab Technologist plays a crucial role in the diagnostic imaging department, ensuring high-quality patient care through advanced radiographic procedures.

Certification Requirements
  • ARRT Certification in Radiology is mandatory.
  • IEMA Certification is essential.
  • BLS Certification is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts diagnostic radiographic examinations with precision.
  • Utilizes PACS and EMR systems effectively.
  • Executes interventional procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintains proficiency in IV and Contrast administration.
  • Adheres to protocols for patient positioning, exposure control, and radiation safety.
  • Performs administrative tasks as necessary.
  • Communicates effectively with all stakeholders involved in patient care.
  • Conducts cleaning and inspection of departmental equipment.
  • Ensures imaging rooms are properly stocked and maintained.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a relevant field.
  • ARRT Certification in Radiology.
  • IEMA Certification.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in the field.
