Laborist/OB Hospitalist Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a dedicated Laborist/OB Hospitalist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a critical part of our group practice model, this role oversees perinatal safety at the birthing center, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.

The successful candidate will function as the team lead for the provider group within labor and delivery, working closely with Laborists/OB Hospitalists, OB/GYN Hospitalists, OB/GYN Generalists, Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists, Certified Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, and Residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the obstetric unit, participating in labor management, obstetric triage, and support of maternal fetal medicine service.
  • Provide support and consultation to midwifery and Family Medicine services.
  • Supervise OB/GYN Hospitalist Fellows, OB/GYN residents, and medical students.
