Procurement Specialist for Renewable Energy

The Senior Procurement Associate plays a critical role in the procurement process, sourcing materials and vendors for biogas plants.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our renewable energy division, you will be responsible for assisting in the procurement process, including:
- Sourcing potential vendors and comparing prices
- Negotiating contracts and maintaining supplier information
- Supporting market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends
- Processing purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers
You will work closely with our Procurement Manager to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining accurate records of purchases and pricing data.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in procurement or a related field
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools, such as SAP Ariba or Oracle Procurement Cloud
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers
