Job Summary

Synovus is seeking a skilled Relationship Banker to join our team. As a key member of our retail branch, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with consumer and small business customers, identifying their financial needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to understand their financial goals and objectives, and provide expert advice on banking products and services.
  • Develop and maintain a diverse loan portfolio, including consumer, small business, and real estate loans.
  • Pursue new business opportunities through proactive sales and relationship-building efforts.
  • Collaborate with branch colleagues and business partners to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations and policies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in banking, sales, or customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of bank services and products, as well as state and federal banking compliance regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building strong customer relationships.
