Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

The Alma plant is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our production team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food processing facility. Responsibilities

Assist with setting up daily 1st shift production, including transporting meats, spices, and packaging supplies to production lines.
Return items to coolers, freezers, and warehouses at the end of 2nd shift.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of coolers, freezers, and warehouses.
Clean and maintain forklifts and other equipment as needed.
Cover for the sleeveline position in their absence.
Load and warehouse finished goods accurately.
Operate a robotic palletizer and perform other tasks as assigned by supervision.

Requirements

Ability to read and write to accurately complete job-related paperwork.
Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions throughout a shift.
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds as required throughout the shift.
Ability to twist and bend the body as necessary to perform job-related tasks.
Ability to kneel, squat, and climb as necessary to complete job-related tasks.
Ability to perform grasping and pinching motions to complete job-related tasks.

Working Conditions

The Alma plant operates in a refrigerated environment with temperatures ranging from -10 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
