Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Fellow to join our team at the Minneapolis Heart Institute. As a fellow, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of cardiologists and imaging specialists to develop advanced skills in cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and cardiovascular computed tomography (CT).

Key Position Details

The Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Fellowship is a 12-month program designed to train cardiovascular specialists in advanced cardiovascular imaging techniques. You will gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art imaging equipment and participate in research and educational activities. Our high-volume clinical studies and research opportunities provide an excellent teaching environment.

As a fellow, you will work closely with our experienced imaging attendings to develop your skills in acquiring, post-processing, and interpreting CMR and CCT studies. You will also have the opportunity to participate in research projects and present your findings at national conferences.

Responsibilities

As an Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Fellow, you will be responsible for:

  • Acquiring and interpreting CMR and CCT studies
  • Participating in research projects and presenting findings at national conferences
  • Working closely with imaging attendings to develop advanced imaging skills
  • Participating in educational activities and teaching sessions
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must:

  • Be board eligible or board certified in cardiology
  • Be eligible to obtain an unrestricted Minnesota State Medical Licensure
  • Hold a Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine
