Clean Harbors is the leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services throughout North America. As a Master Fleet Technician at Clean Harbors, you will be responsible for overseeing daily shop operations, ensuring fleet compliance with regulations, and maintaining service records.

About This Role

This position requires 5-7 years of experience in diesel engine systems, including preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. You will also be responsible for conducting inspections, troubleshooting failures, and performing necessary corrections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
  • Performing preventative maintenance, conducting inspections, troubleshooting failures, and performing necessary corrections
  • Completing daily checklists as required for proper operation of the unit being operated
  • Assuring unit has daily maintenance duties performed and communicating any problems or issues with the unit immediately upon discovery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 5-7 years of experience in diesel engine systems
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency in diagnostic, repair, and maintenance of various units, including heavy duty forklifts, roll off trucks, forklifts, pick up trucks, box trucks, tractors, and tankers
  • Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire
