Position Information:

The Cardiovascular Testing department at WakeMed utilizes state-of-the-art equipment to perform cardiovascular anatomy and physiology assessments. We are seeking a Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team, who must demonstrate proficiency in using ultrasound equipment to visualize and record quality images of the cardiovascular system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations to assess cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and software.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular ultrasound technology and techniques.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of clinical experience in ultrasound required.
  • Graduate degree in Cardiac Ultrasound and Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound, or Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Sonography, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification required.

Work Schedule:

Days, with occasional weekend and evening shifts.
