Job Description

As a Mineral Processing Specialist at Alpha Metallurgical Resources, you will play a critical role in maximizing plant efficiency and productivity. Based in Tennessee, this position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, along with opportunities to work with high-quality coal reserves and significant port capacity.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Maintaining effective Quality Control and Maintenance Programs for Coal Handling and Preparation.
  2. Evaluating and assisting with the selection of process chemicals and plant equipment.
  3. Assisting with plant process and circuit sampling to measure efficiencies and optimize performance.
  4. Planning, scheduling, and maintaining databases for all plant maintenance activities.
  5. Leading the evaluation, scope development, and benefit analysis of continuous improvement projects.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mining, Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline) is required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD & Carlson Survcad is preferred.
  • Microsoft Office suite skills are also preferred.
  • Good communication and writing skills are essential.
