Data Scientist Keying Position

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Equifax. As a key member of our Entity Resolution/Keying & Linking team, you will play a crucial role in transforming our entity resolution capabilities on the Google Cloud.
Responsibilities:
* Develop analytical approaches to meet business requirements, translating requests into use cases, developing data matching techniques, and building entity resolution rules and strategies.
* Work with key stakeholders to understand their needs, utilizing combined knowledge of data structures, analytics, algorithms/models, and strong computer science fundamentals to develop new or improve existing Entity Resolution processes.
* Leverage knowledge of data structures and algorithms to analyze and prepare data for analysis, assembling data from standard and new data sources.
* Support in the design and development of scalable solutions using large datasets within a cloud platform.
* Package, summarize, and visualize analytical findings, presenting results and recommendations to internal and external customers.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's, Master's degree in Data/Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or other related discipline. 2-5 years of experience in data science or relevant equivalent experience.
* 1-2 years of experience with the development and usage of search, match, and entity resolution, building Search systems, Data Matching, Master Data Management of large (multi-TB to PB), complex data sets.
* Shell scripting experience. Experience in Perl or Python programming, and SQL.
Preferred Skills:
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to design algorithms, which may include data cleaning, data mining, data clustering, and pattern recognition methodologies.
* Cloud certification preferred.
* Strong knowledge of credit bureau data.
* Experience or advanced degree with focus on Entity Resolution concepts, prototype, or hand-on project. Background of Graph theory, AI/ML tools usage to solve large-scale business problems.
* Experience in Data Visualization and storytelling.
