About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional leader with extensive experience in cybersecurity operations and management. Your primary responsibility will be to lead our Cyber Security Log Management team, driving the development and implementation of our security logging strategy across the enterprise.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a high-performing team of leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in setting and communicating the enterprise security logging strategy
  • Recruiting and retaining top talent, motivating leaders and SMEs, mentoring, and growing your team
  • Establishing technical best practices for security logging, including event generation, delivery, storage, and minimum requirements across applications, infrastructure, and endpoints
  • Maintaining close ties with developers and Cyber Operations teams to ensure clear logging standards and compliance
  • Overseeing security logging assessments to identify compliance with requirements and standards, tracking and escalating non-compliance to executive leadership
  • Collaborating with technology teams to automate log generation and transmission for ease of compliance

  • Strong judgment skills, comfortable with ambiguity and change, and able to tackle nuanced problems with your team
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships with technology groups and stakeholders, sharing customer and engineering benefits for security logging
  • Experience delivering security logging projects and programs across a technology environment, setting logging strategy with architects, developers, and data experts

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 6 years of experience working in cybersecurity or information technology
  • At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations
  • At least 3 years of experience working with Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems
  • At least 2 years of experience with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • At least 4 years of experience in people management

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is $234,700 - $267,900 based on location and performance. This position is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
