Job Overview

Stony Brook University's prestigious Renaissance School of Medicine is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospital Medicine physician to join our growing team. This exciting opportunity will enable you to provide comprehensive care to patients on the pediatric acute inpatient and mother-baby units at Stony Brook Children's, while also being involved in academic activities such as teaching and research.


About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who possesses or is eligible for New York State licensure. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, contributing to the growth and development of our team, and participating in academic initiatives.


Responsibilities
  • Providing comprehensive care to patients on the pediatric acute inpatient and mother-baby units.
  • Contributing to the growth and development of our team through collaborative clinical care, medical education, and career advancement.
  • Participating in academic initiatives, including teaching, research, and quality improvement projects.

Requirements
  • MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent).
  • Board Certification in Pediatrics and Board Eligibility/Board Certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
  • Eligibility for Medical Licensure in the State of New York.
  • Experience in medical education is preferred.
