Store Director

Overview:

In business since 1963, Plaza Tire Service has 75 locations across the region. As a leading tire retailer, we offer a unique blend of quality products, competitive pricing, and exceptional customer service. We're seeking a qualified Store Manager to lead our team at one of our locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by maintaining store standards, providing solid product knowledge, conducting call backs, and meeting time commitments.
• Team Leadership: Set expectations and communicate regularly with employees on job responsibilities, goals, training, and development. Hold management team accountable for job responsibilities, training, and goals by coaching or counseling employees toward desired behaviors.
• Financial Management: Analyze and measure business trends; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed Sales and Profit targets as provided in the Store Margin Statement.
• Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
• Employee Development: Conduct performance evaluations for all employees at regular intervals and provide coaching and training to help employees improve their performance.

Requirements:

• Experience: Five or more years of experience in sales and management in an auto repair shop or equivalent business experience in the automotive industry.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual plans with clearly defined goals. Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and vendors.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
