Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assess residents' needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in fire and disaster drills, and maintain confidentiality of resident and team member information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Wellness Director.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Attend all required meetings and in-services to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
  • Be observant and report any safety hazards or concerns to the Wellness Director.
  • Adhere to company policy for time and attendance.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a current state nursing license.
  • Proficient in written and verbal English.
  • Competency with computers and electronic medical records.
  • Demonstration of ability to establish long-term relationships with residents and families.
  • Interest in working with the older adult population.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two to five years of prior assisted living or senior care experience.
