At Vets2PM, we are committed to protecting children and families across Florida. As a skilled intern in our Child Protective Investigator program, you will work with us to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable populations.

About the Role

This is a professional work opportunity to investigate allegations of child abuse and neglect, as well as to provide services to families in need. Our team is dedicated to working collaboratively with community-based providers, law enforcement, medical personnel, schools, and other agencies involved in child protective investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of child abuse and neglect
  • Collaborate with families to identify needs and develop case plans
  • Provide recommendations for development of case plans to Case Managers
  • Engage in initial/ongoing child Present and Impending Danger assessments
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with four years of law enforcement experience or active military service (honorably discharged)
  • An associate degree or 60+ credit hours from an accredited college or university, with two years of professional work experience (see examples below)
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Home Health Aide
  • Nurse (LPN or RN) or similar profession
  • Nursing Facility Assistant
  • EMT
