Dental Hygienist

Buck Creek Family Dental is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care and education to our patients.

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and screenings to patients of all ages
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes

Requirements:

• Current dental hygienist license in AL and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
