Position Overview:
Tact Staff is in search of a dedicated travel nurse RN specializing in psychiatric care for an exciting opportunity.

Shift Details:
12-hour shifts

Employment Type:
Travel Nursing

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive nursing care activities within the Geropsychiatric Unit.
- Assess, monitor, document, and report any changes in patient conditions.
- Maintain precise patient records and medical histories.
- Conduct mental and physical assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist patients with daily living activities and observe their reactions.
- Facilitate therapeutic activities, including group sessions and individual patient interactions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Complete necessary admission paperwork and assessments.
- Document progress notes accurately.

Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of a 2-year Associate's degree or diploma from a 3-year nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Must hold a valid RN license in the State of New Hampshire.
- BLS certification is required.
- Preferred: 1 year of previous nursing experience.
- Proficiency in medical terminology is essential.

- Competence in conducting interventions and evaluations.
- Ability to manage discharge paperwork and quality improvement data.
