Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Oregon.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients for CT scans, using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary, to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
  • Set and monitor equipment controls, making adjustments as needed to optimize image quality.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast media, as required.
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans and assist with interventional CT procedures.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them appropriately.
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions, such as charging procedures and supplies.
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
Requirements
  • Eighteen months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
  • Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
  • Most states require licensure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
