Food Runner

At Georgia Blue, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Food Runner to join our team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room by delivering food to our guests in a timely and efficient manner.

• Food Delivery: Run food to the correct tables using seat numbers and pivot points, ensuring that the correct dish is placed in front of the correct guest.
• Guest Interaction: Interact with guests to answer questions about the food and the facility's service, providing a positive and courteous experience.
• Secondary Tasks: Perform secondary tasks such as cleaning tables, bussing tables, refilling drinks, and assisting the kitchen staff in maintaining their work areas.
• Teamwork: Work as a team player, assisting other team members as needed to ensure all restaurant standards are met.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred (or in progress)
• Age: Must be at least 16 years of age
• Experience: No previous restaurant experience or training required, but a positive, upbeat, and energetic attitude is a must.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, confidence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Physical Demands: Must be able to carry a large tray with food from the kitchen to any table in the restaurant (up to 50 lbs)
• Environmental Factors: May be indoor or outdoor setting depending on outlet, varied weather conditions, and exposure to moving or mechanical parts.

• Uniform: Black long sleeve button-down shirt with a solid bright-colored tie, black non-denim pants, black crew socks, and closed-toed black slip-resistant shoes.
