Job Overview

Khaboodles Pet Supplies & Grooming is seeking an experienced and compassionate pet groomer to join our team in a new grooming business. As a pet groomer, you will be responsible for bathing and trimming cats and dogs according to breed-specific standards and owner preferences.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, customer-focused, and has a passion for providing exceptional care to pets.

About the Role
  • Bathe and trim coats according to breed-specific standards and owner preferences
  • Trim nails, clean ears, detangle hair, and ensure pets look and feel their best
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners and provide excellent customer service
Responsibilities

  • Brush and detangle or remove matted fur
  • Bathe and dry coat
  • Execute various clipping techniques and style requests
  • Examine for parasites or other skin conditions
  • Trim nails
  • Ensure the safety of the pet at all times
  • Adhere to strict sanitary and cleaning procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a dog grooming technician or similar role/new grooming school graduate
  • Comfortable working with anxious animals
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift large dogs over 60 pounds
  • Able to communicate effectively with owners
  • Strong attention to detail
