Job Summary:

Jacobs is seeking a highly skilled Knowledge Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive knowledge management strategy that drives business value and improves operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Knowledge Management Strategy: Design and execute a knowledge management strategy that aligns with Jacobs' business objectives and supports the development of a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Content Creation and Curation: Create, update, and curate high-quality content in our knowledge base, including technical documentation, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with IT engineers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to capture relevant information and ensure that knowledge articles are organized logically and tagged appropriately for easy retrieval.
  • Metrics and Analysis: Generate, monitor, and analyze knowledge usage metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize knowledge management processes.
  • Training and Development: Train team members on knowledge management processes and tools to ensure seamless adoption and utilization.
  • Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure that our knowledge management strategy remains relevant and effective.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and maintain organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure consistency and efficiency in our knowledge management processes.

Requirements:

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI: Must have an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI to meet the requirements of this role.
  • Experience and Skills: At least 5 years' experience as a Knowledge Manager or similar role within an IT environment, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Education and Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred, and IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, Cisco) a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
  • IT Infrastructure and Networking: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity concepts.
