Key Responsibilities- Design and develop large-scale data warehouses and business intelligence systems using Snowflake, ANSI SQL, SQL Server, T-SQL, and dbt.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) and Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT) tools such as Azure Data Factory and SSIS.
- Leverage Microsoft Power BI to design and develop business intelligence systems.
- Collect and analyze user requirements to inform data solution development.
- Participate in software validation processes through development, review, and execution of test plans/cases/scripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering.
- Strong knowledge of dimensional data modeling and awareness of the advantages and limitations of Star Schema and Snowflake schema designs.
- Solid ETL development and reporting knowledge based on intricate understanding of business processes and measures.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing platforms like Snowflake is preferred.
- Experience with Python programming language is preferred.
- Knowledge of REST API and basic SQL Server database concepts is required.
- C# and Azure development experience is a plus.
