Position Overview:

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in our Specialty Clinic, you will play a vital role in delivering essential nursing care to our patients while working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or Physician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver fundamental nursing services to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes for specific patient groups.
  • Administer prescribed medications, perform diagnostic tests, manage wound care, and change dressings as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and progress in accordance with established protocols.
  • Engage in effective communication with patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient care practices and improve health outcomes.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Possession of a current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse license.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS).
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical or hospital environment.
  • Familiarity with fundamental nursing processes, healthcare technologies, and relevant state regulations.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Exhibit sound judgment and a high level of professionalism.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor towards patients.
