About the Role

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at Med Center Health in Glasgow. As a Medical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with healthcare providers to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage patients and prepare them for examinations and special procedures, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Perform venipuncture, capillary blood sampling, and other specimen collections, ensuring accurate processing and testing of samples.
  • Conduct EKG, BAT, audio, and PFT services, maintaining equipment and supplies to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, documenting patient information accurately and thoroughly.
  • Participate in patient education, reinforcing teaching done by other healthcare providers to support patient understanding and empowerment.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Licensed Practical Nurse program is required, with previous experience preferred.
  • A valid Kentucky LPN license or an equivalent license from a state recognized by the Kentucky Nurse Licensure Compact Act is essential.
