About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Developer to join our team at Thirty Three Threads. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for executing the product development process across multiple categories and brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of assigned product lines from design to production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain product development schedules, timelines, and tracking tools
  • Review prototypes and submit designs for approval across all brands
  • Ensure accurate costing and margin targets are achieved and reported
  • Facilitate bi-weekly calls with Asia manufacturing teams to expedite the development process
  • Manage product reviews at all stages, including prototypes, photo samples, sales samples, and pre-production samples
  • Educate marketing teams on product details
  • Proof catalog and packaging for accuracy
  • Manage and maintain relevant fabric, trim, and sample libraries
  • Support and facilitate product reviews, ensuring accuracy of specs, construction, and design intent, and overall quality
  • Manage hand-off from design to factory, ensuring all deliverables are complete and accurate
  • Manage salesman sampling, literature, and catalog development for successful GTM strategies
  • Work with the QC Manager to ensure proper material and durability testing is completed
  • Manage product testing process during development and integrate all feedback based on testing
  • Prepare and communicate all fit photos and comments
  • Update tech packs
  • Create and update visual line plans, boards, and WIPs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Design, Technical Design, Development, or related subject (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in product development with a keen understanding of technical design or product development
  • Experience in active apparel, knitwear, and embellishments

  • Able to work outside standard business hours as needed to communicate with international teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Thorough knowledge of category technologies and general manufacturing principles
  • General knowledge of quality assurance methods
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Illustrator
  • Ability to manage multiple seasonal calendars in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
