Position Overview
The Mechanical Engineer will deliver engineering and technical assistance to the Wastewater Solutions division of Complete Filtration Resources, Inc. You will receive practical, on-the-job training while enhancing your engineering capabilities, with advanced and specialized training provided as necessary. This role focuses on offering detailed mechanical engineering support for wastewater initiatives within the Food & Beverage sector, particularly for facilities involved in the production of dairy products such as cheese, butter, and sour cream. You will be an integral member of the process engineering team, responsible for developing sophisticated wastewater treatment systems and generating essential engineering documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Project Coordinator with engineering tasks to facilitate project development, design engineering, and project management.
- Engage in diverse projects, primarily centered on wastewater treatment and water reclamation in the Food & Beverage sector.
- Design complex wastewater treatment systems, including anaerobic digestion, activated sludge processes, membrane bioreactors, and biogas energy recovery.
- Develop design concepts for new wastewater treatment facilities or enhancements to existing systems to comply with customer and environmental standards.
- Responsibilities encompass equipment specification and selection, AutoCAD P&ID development, insulation specification, and pipe stress analysis.
- Proficient use of productivity software (MS Word, Excel) is required.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or 3D modeling is preferred.
- Ensure timely project completion within budget constraints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with strategic thinking.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Willingness to travel 20%-35% of the time.
