Job Summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provides rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices.
  • Assesses patient progress and communicates with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.
  • Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
  • Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy.
