Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathology Specialist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing therapy plans, and delivering direct services to students in a middle school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Therapy Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and ensure seamless communication.
  • Record Keeping and Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings to ensure informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid California licensure as an SLP.
  • Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in speech therapy, with a focus on middle school students.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
