Echocardiogram Technologist I-Pd

As an Echocardiogram Technologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a crucial role in performing echocardiograph procedures and preparing studies for interpretation by cardiologists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic studies, including 2-D, M-Mode, Doppler, color flow mapping, and stress transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms.
- Record and maintain daily logs and files of studies performed.
- Aid in preparation of records for interpretation, collection, and distribution of diagnostic data and reports.
- Ensure equipment is operational and available for procedures.
- Participate in developing and conducting in-service programs and patient care classes.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of one year's experience in echocardiography with Doppler.
- A graduate degree from an accredited echocardiography program or equivalent on-the-job training.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification from ARDMS.
