Job Title: Wealth Advisor I

At CBC Federal Credit Union, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Wealth Advisor I to join our team. As a Wealth Advisor I, you will play a critical role in helping our members achieve their financial goals by providing expert financial guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with members to assess their financial needs and develop personalized financial plans.
  • Provide expert financial guidance and support to help members achieve their financial goals.
  • Service investment advisory accounts, including periodic and annual reviews to ensure progress towards financial goals.
  • Develop and execute business plans to increase sales and service levels, including marketing and prospecting efforts.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for branch employees on investment and financial topics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the AVP, Wealth Management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of experience working in a consultative role with clients as a Wealth Advisor or Financial Advisor.
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 66, and State Life, Accident, and Health licenses required.
  • PREFERRED CREDENTIALS: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
Work Environment:

This position is of light physical activity performing non-strenuous tasks of a clerical nature. The work area is a well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.

Work Schedule:

The workweek will be 40 hours to include some overtime as needed. Occasional attendance at meetings before or after scheduled hours may be required.
