The Clinical Educator plays a pivotal role in delivering clinical expertise, educational development, and strategic consultation to ensure high standards of nursing practice.
This role requires the application of critical thinking and problem-solving skills to enhance patient outcomes and meet educational objectives. Strong communication abilities are essential for cultivating effective working relationships.
Collaboration with management and other leaders is crucial to establish patient care standards, assess patient health needs, and evaluate nursing interventions to optimize clinical practices. The Clinical Educator also facilitates decision-making processes that influence the development and assessment of patient care goals at various organizational levels.
- Encourages real-time problem-solving to enhance critical thinking abilities.
- Exhibits advanced educational and instructional skills throughout the teaching process.
- Coordinates the creation of relevant educational materials for staff training.
- Independently plans, develops, presents, and assesses educational programs in partnership with department leaders.
- Designs, implements, and evaluates training for new and experienced preceptors.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
40 hours per week, Onsite
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing required.
- Specialization in Nursing Education preferred.
- Mandatory experience in Emergency Department nursing.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.
- Preferred recent experience in hospital education and training.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
