At Serasana, which translates to "To Be Healthy," we are dedicated to fostering a community centered around wellness and healing. Our studio uniquely integrates traditional wellness techniques, focusing on alleviating stress and managing pain through various holistic practices.
We are currently seeking both Full-time and Part-time Licensed Massage Practitioners to become part of our dynamic team. Our studio features a serene tea bar and a curated retail selection designed to enhance our clients' wellness experiences. We offer six treatment rooms, including options for couples' therapy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Embrace the Serasana philosophy of health and wellness, collaborating with team members to maximize client benefits from our services.
- Deliver massages tailored to both scheduled clients and walk-ins.
- Engage with clients to discuss their needs, medical backgrounds, and overall wellness objectives.
- Guide clients through our diverse service offerings.
- Propose treatment plans that may include recommendations for yoga, acupuncture, meditation, herbal teas, and other wellness strategies.
- Document detailed client histories, including any injuries or chronic conditions.
- Complete SOAP notes following each session and input data into our management software.
- Personalize sessions to address specific concerns or areas of discomfort.
- Provide clients with a Wellness Prescription post-session.
- Maintain linens and ensure they are replaced between treatments.
- Sanitize therapy rooms and equipment after each use.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Report directly to the Owner/Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a valid Florida Massage Therapy License.
Current Liability Insurance is required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent bending and lifting required.
- Ability to assist clients with disabilities.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a tobacco-free lifestyle.
