We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Psychologist to join our team at the Veterans Health Administration. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our nation's veterans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnoses to identify mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and substance abuse.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote mental health and well-being.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure that our mental health services meet the highest standards of care.
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure to practice psychology in the state of North Dakota.
- Experience working with veterans and their families, preferably in a mental health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
