Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician for a full-time locum tenens opportunity. This role involves providing comprehensive care in a supportive environment, focusing on both hematology and oncology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outpatient care with minimal on-call requirements.
- Ensure continuity of care by maintaining a consistent schedule.
- Collaborate with a skilled team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and mid-level providers.

Schedule:
- Full-time commitment required, with a structured workweek from Monday to Friday.
- Standard working hours from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology is mandatory.
- An active medical license in the relevant state is required.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are essential.

Practice Details:
- Patient care will involve approximately 30% hematology and 70% oncology.
- Each physician will have dedicated support staff, including RNs and MAs, to enhance patient care.

Support Services:
- Access to a range of support services, including dietitians, social workers, and counseling.

Patient Load:
- Manage a caseload of 14-18 patients per shift, with an expectation of 2 consults daily.

Procedures:
- Required: Management of VAD/CV catheters.
- Preferred: Administration of chemotherapy and intrathecal procedures.

Technology:
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and management.
