Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wheeled Vehicle Transport Specialist to join our team at Queen City Roadside LLC.

Salary & Benefits

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate of $14-$16, supplemented by commission pay and tips. A flexible schedule is offered, including 12-hour shifts across day and night shifts.

Job Responsibilities

As a Wheeled Vehicle Transport Specialist, you will be responsible for transporting vehicles from one location to another using a tow truck vehicle and equipment. This may involve recovering vehicles stranded on non-drivable surfaces without causing damage. You will also maintain regular communication with dispatchers, keeping them updated on job progress and estimating arrival times for members waiting for service. Proficiency in filling out daily logs and submitting them by the end of each shift is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Regularly inspecting and maintaining the tow truck and its equipment to ensure good operating condition
  • Safely operating the tow truck and equipment while adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and providing exceptional customer service to all roadside assistance members
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license with an unblemished driving record
  • A clean criminal history, passing both a background check and a drug test
  • A minimum of one year of experience working as a tow truck driver/operator with another reputable towing company
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment & Location

This position requires working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, often involving long hours and physically demanding tasks. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an outdoor setting and able to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
