Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Evaluate Patient Needs
    • Evaluate patients' health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data.
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' unique needs.
  • Provide High-Quality Patient Care
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
    • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team
    • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient care and develop plans.
  • Maintain Accurate Records
    • Document patient care and treatment in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
    • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification.
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
    • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 1 year of hire.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education and Certification
    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
    • Certification in a specialty area, such as Critical Care or Emergency Nursing.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Experience working in a critical care or emergency department setting.
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

  • See and read information, labels, and assess patient needs.
  • Operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and respond to alarms.
  • Verbal communicate with patient care providers, patients, and visitors.
  • Manual dexterity to manipulate complex and delicate equipment.
  • Stand, walk, and assist with transporting/ambulating patients.
