Position Overview:
As a Charge Nurse Leader, you will:
- Assess and evaluate the needs of assigned patients, planning and documenting appropriate nursing care.
- Assist physicians during medical examinations and procedures.
- Conduct various patient tests and administer medications in accordance with registered nurse practice standards.
- Encourage patient independence by setting care goals and educating patients and their families about conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Utilize your experience and judgment to effectively plan and achieve care objectives.
Work schedule includes 3 shifts of 12 hours, with varying days.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- An active NM Registered Nurse (RN) License or a Compact RN License.
- An Associate's Degree or higher in Nursing.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Previous experience in a supervisory capacity.
