Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and eager individual to join our team as a Plumbing Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop the skills necessary to become a proficient Residential Plumbing Technician.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain the mechanics service vehicle.
  • Complete all necessary data entry and paperwork to complete job.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Benjamin Franklin sales presentation.
  • Present water treatment options to customers.
  • Clean drains and recommend replacement when appropriate.
  • Soldering, pressing, and threading of pipes.
  • Replacement and repair of fixtures, including water heaters, faucets, tubs, vanities, and sinks.
  • Proficiency in basic plumbing code.
  • Clean work, plumb, level, and square.

Requirements

  • Acceptable results from the Wonderlic Assessment.
  • Desire to learn and succeed for yourself and the company.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 21 (must be able to drive DOT vehicle).
  • Must have necessary hand tools to complete job duties.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • 40-hour work week with flexibility to work overtime.
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen.
  • Clean driving record and defensive driving certificate.
  • Physically fit and capable of carrying 75 pounds 75 feet.
  • No moonlighting or side jobs.

Compensation

Pay rate will be determined by where you are in your career upon hiring and matched to your skill set as you learn the trade.
