Position Overview

The Radiology Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services. This position involves performing a variety of radiographic procedures that require independent judgment and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Utilize safety measures such as lead aprons and collimators to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Perform clerical duties related to radiology requests and maintain organization in exam rooms.
  • Provide compassionate care to patients during their radiology visits.
  • Collect and process laboratory samples as per established protocols.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 12 months of hire.
  • Current CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

This position may involve physical demands and exposure to various conditions, including potential hazards associated with radiographic equipment and patient interactions.
