Job Description

Advantage Investigations is a leading insurance defense investigation firm that delivers high-quality results to our clients. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct investigations of auto, property, homeowner liability, and worker's compensation insurance claims in support of client objectives and Company quality standards.
  • Review case information, consult with Manager on strategies, and locate subjects of the assigned investigation.
  • Create and maintain written daily updates, including supporting photos, audiotapes, diagrams, and final investigative reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English
  • Prior claim handling and investigation experience
  • Full comprehension of case management systems
  • Able to proactively conduct follow-ups as needed
  • Good Oral and Written Communication Skills
  • Proficient in computer technology – including Microsoft office type products, email, and the ability to produce quality, well-written reports
  • Ability to Pass a 10 Panel Drug Screening
  • Self-Starter/Disciplined work ethic with ability to ask relevant questions when needed, and work independently

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Private Investigator License, registration, or have the ability to obtain one in MD.
  • B.S. in Criminal Justice or related field.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to recognize potential fraud and develop a reasonable plan for investigation.
  • Prior related SIU Claims experience.
  • Ability to acquire broadband internet service.
