About this Opportunity:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team at TransForce. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of radiopharmaceuticals and oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers.
Job Description:
This position involves preparing and making deliveries to customer accounts on an assigned route using a company vehicle. You will also be responsible for packaging radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performing testing, and loading/unloading containers. Additionally, you will use a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation, process packages returned from customer locations, and maintain vehicles in proper working condition.
What You'll Need:
To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, and a minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle. You must also hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record. Prior delivery driving experience is a plus, and you will need to be able to lift containers weighing up to 75 pounds. Additionally, you will need to be comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours, sitting, standing, being mobile and operating a vehicle for extended periods of time, and having strong customer service and communication skills. You will also need to be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs, and be able to work weekends, holiday, on call or be in a weekend, holiday or on call rotation, as well as work comfortably in a nuclear environment. Finally, you will need to be able to work overtime with little or no advance notice and use computers and tablets.
