Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of site reliability engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Reliability Engineering: Apply SRE and DevOps principles to reduce toil throughout the enterprise and improve overall system reliability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other enterprise services teams to identify improvements to service delivery and contribute to decision-making on prioritization and planning of work.
  • On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure timely and effective support for critical business systems.
  • SLA Establishment: Help establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for critical business systems to ensure high levels of service quality.
Requirements
  • Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Salt.
  • Enterprise Monitoring: Experience with enterprise monitoring platforms such as DataDog, LogicMonitor, Shinken, Nagios, or New Relic.
  • Scripting and Automation: Experience in modern scripting and automation languages such as PowerShell, Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Cloud Architecture: Experience with cloud architecture for either Azure or AWS.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Experience with infrastructure as code practices using tools such as Terraform and Packer.
  • Continuous Integration and Deployment: Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Compensation

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $80,000 - $160,000 per year. ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets.
