We are seeking a skilled Production Machine Setup Technician to join our team on a day shift. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities- Perform tooling changes, setups, die changes, and adjustments on the roll form lines to enable production of parts that meet all specifications.
- Assist the maintenance department in performing periodic preventative maintenance tasks.
- Previous manufacturing and/or manufacturing maintenance experience is required.
- Previous machine setup experience is required.
- Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math skills as job duties require.
- Must possess common sense, a positive attitude, and demonstrate excellent attendance.
- Must be quality and safety conscious, a team player.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact with people.
- Extensive standing, frequent bending, sitting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting, and walking.
- Required to operate protective equipment, tugger, overhead crane, carts, dollies, and some hand tools.
