MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to fill a travel position in Portland, Maine.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CT equipment, producing high-quality images, and working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
  • Set controls on equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast media if applicable.
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them appropriately.
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to patient records.
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
Requirements
  • Eighteen months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
  • Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
  • Most states require licensure.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
