We are looking for a friendly and knowledgeable individual to become a part of our team at Divine 1 Mgmt as a Cannabis Retail Consultant. In this position, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service, providing product insights, and assisting customers with their cannabis-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Engagement: Welcome customers warmly, aiming to create a delightful shopping atmosphere. Offer precise information regarding our product offerings, including strains, effects, and consumption methods. Guide customers in selecting the ideal products tailored to their preferences.

2. In-Depth Product Expertise: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, and concentrates. Keep abreast of industry developments and the latest research. Educate customers about the diverse options available and provide tailored recommendations based on their desired experiences.

3. Sales Enhancement: Effectively promote products by emphasizing special promotions, new arrivals, or exclusive items. Engage in cross-selling and upselling to enrich customers' experiences and boost sales.

4. Transaction Management: Accurately handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and efficiently utilize our point-of-sale system. Ensure adherence to all legal regulations concerning cannabis sales.

5. Stock Oversight: Organize product displays and maintain order on the sales floor. Restock items as necessary and conduct regular inventory assessments. Keep a tidy and well-organized workspace.

6. Compliance and Safety Standards: Follow all legal and company policies, including age verification and identification checks, to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff.

7. Collaborative Teamwork: Work together with colleagues to achieve shared objectives. Communicate effectively and collaborate to deliver exceptional service. Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

- Must be at least 21 years old.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.

- Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for cannabis products and consumption methods.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

- Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Basic math skills and experience with cash handling.

- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is advantageous.

- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor even in challenging situations.

- Must comply with all state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales.
